Amy has been the "funny girl" her whole life but never really embraced it until life smacked her around a bit.

Amy was in business as a consultant for over 6 years. One day she woke up and realized that she hated her business AND at the same time, her 16 year old son was struggling with suicidal depression and ended up in a psych ward.

She wondered why she'd been trying so damned hard to be the "perfect mom" and the "perfect business lady" for so many years when everyone (including herself) was completely miserable.

In that moment, out of the ashes of burnout and mourning her former life, The Drunk Mom was born in June 2016.

During the show we chatted about how taking action towards something when you just FEEL it has seen Amy create a viral video frenzy (her top video has received over 1.2M views!) and a growing business.

Things looked very different then to how they do now - I started with baby carrier/sling obsession that quickly turned into an accidental online business... I've had a few changes in direction since then leading me eventually to what you see today.

It felt great sharing my story somewhere concrete - but a little aware of my own voice :)
